Thanks to its high flow rate of up to 7 liters / 2 gallons per minute, the under-sink filter keeps up even when your demand for water is at its highest.
Thanks to its compact 4-inch-diameter by 13-inch-height design (10-cm-diameter by 33-cm-height), the Seccua MK7 requires very little space under your kitchen sink.
Seccua MK7 filter cartridges only need replacing every six months or 5,000 liters / 1,320 gallons, whichever comes first. That means months of enjoying safe and delicious water between replacements.
Even novices will find installing the Seccua MK7 under a sink simple and easy. You can download a step-by-step installation guide including graphics here.
Natural filtration without use of chemicals
The filtration process is purely mechanical and uses water pressure, while forgoing the need for chemicals and electricity entirely. The water passes through a three-stage filtration system consisting of a pre-filter, a microfiltration membrane, and activated carbon.
1. Pre-filter
Physically retains solids, such as sand and larger suspended particles.
2. Microfiltration membrane
Blocks up to 99.9 % of bacteria and germs. Also effective against solids, including microplastics and rust particles, up to 0.3 micron (= 0.003 millimeters) in diameter.
3. Activated carbon (block)
Activated carbon block filters are made from fine coconut shells because they provide an exceptionally large surface area and thus an enormous capacity for retaining pollutants. This is how the activated carbon binds dissolved solids such as pharmaceutical residues, pesticides, hormone-like substances, etc. Organic substances and chlorine are also significantly reduced, which improves taste and smell.
